Bacary Sagna Explains Why Jude Bellingham Must Snub Liverpool For Real Madrid. Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has advised Borussia Dortmund teenager Jude Bellingham to reject Liverpool and join Real Madrid in the summer.
Bellingham has emerged as the most sought-after youngster heading into the summer transfer market. The English midfielder is poised to depart Signal Iduna Park, with a sum of more than £100 million being rumoured.
The 19-year-old has had his greatest season to date with BvB, scoring 10 goals and assisting six times in 33 outings across all competitions. As a result, Real Madrid and Liverpool are interested in him.
The Games Cabin questioned Sagna on which club Bellingham should join. He believes that joining Los Blancos is the greatest option for him since he can supplant Toni Kroos and Luka Modric:
“Real Madrid is the best option for him because there are players such as Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić who’re ageing, so there’s going to be space for Jude in their squad and the opportunity for him to make a statement.”
The former Arsenal right-back believes Bellingham has what it takes to be a crucial player for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. He thinks that once the heavyweights of the Santiago Bernabeu come knocking, you can’t say no:
“He has the physical and technical ability to become one of the key players for Real Madrid. When Real Madrid calls you, you have to go. I think he’s more likely to go to Real Madrid rather than return to England.”
According to recent reports, Bellingham’s father met with Madrid, which is a setback for Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp’s team has long admired the teenager. They also need to replace players like James Milner and Jordan Henderson, who are nearing the end of their careers.
