Barcelona Trying Everything To Force The Danish Winger Out Of The Club. According to Diario Sport, Barcelona is adamant about getting Martin Braithwaite out of the club as soon as possible. The Catalan club has tried everything to get the Danish marksman to move on, but he seems reluctant to do so.
Braithwaite is adamant that the remaining two years of his contract must be paid before he can leave. He won’t agree to a loan or transfer agreement. Barcelona is reportedly considering taking the dramatic action of immediately cancelling his contract during a meeting Things are tense right now.
Braithwaite, 31, joined Barcelona from Leganes in early 2020 due to an injury crisis in his position. He has made 57 appearances for the club since then, making a contribution of ten goals and five assists. He’s a Danish international with 60 caps and ten goals for his country, and he’ll be hoping to be part of their squad for the Qatar World Cup later this year.

The Catalan giants will not be allowed to register several of their new additions, including star striker Robert Lewandowski unless they reduce their enormous payroll this summer. Xavi is said to be willing to let several fringe players leave, with Denmark international Braithwaite among those considered surplus to requirements.
