Casemiro Opens Up On Ronaldo Reunion At Man United. Casemiro is “excited” about the chance to work with Cristiano Ronaldo again after their time together at Real Madrid.

The 30-year-old midfielder is about to sign a €70 million initial deal to join Old Trafford. He agreed to a contract that runs through June 2026 and has a 12-month extension option. Now that the medical requirements have been met, the deal can be finished with just a visa.

Then, Casemiro will travel to Manchester in the hopes that Ronaldo stays in England so that the two of them may share in additional victories.

“I’m going to United, one of the biggest teams in the world that competes with the greatness of Madrid,” the Brazilian said in a farewell press conference in Madrid on Monday.

“I haven’t talked to Cristiano Ronaldo, but I want to play with him. I’m very excited to work with him. Hopefully, he stays. He’s one of the best in the world.”

Casemiro will also rejoin French defender Raphael Varane, another former Real Madrid star. From 2014 to 2018, the group—which included Ronaldo—won four Champions League championships for Real Madrid. Additionally, they assisted Los Blancos in winning the LaLiga, Copa del Rey, FIFA Club World Cup, and numerous major trophies.
