‘Don’t Hurt Messi, Because I Will Kill You’. Sergio Aguero, a former Manchester City player, has issued a warning to his former colleague Nicolas Otamendi, who will face Lionel Messi in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
Portuguese champions Benfica were drawn in Group H alongside Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Maccabi Haifa on Thursday evening.
Otamendi will face his countryman Messi, as well as Angel di Maria when they face Serie A champions Juventus. Aguero, who was forced into retirement last year, said jokingly that he would attack Otamendi if he kicked Messi with the November 2022 World Cup approaching.
“PSG, Juventus, Benfica… Otamendi is going to have to put in a couple of kicks,” Aguero said on his Twitch channel.
“Otamendi is at Benfica, so he is going to have to start hitting, and he’s going to cross it with Leo. Don’t hurt Leo, because I will kill you. The World Cup is coming, Ota.

He added, “Oh, you also meet ‘Fideo’ [Angel Di María] in Juventus. Oh, Otamendi. How bad we are seeing it with Otamendi. Otamendi has to hit a good kick to both players. Spicy.”
