Former Barcelona Star Pedro Rodriguez Set To Return To Spain Following Lazio Stay. Pedro Rodriguez has lived in some of Europe’s most prestigious cities, including Stamford Bridge and the Stadio Olimpico, but he looks to be thinking about returning to his country.

Pedro was clear that his family could play a large part in his next move. “I’d like to be closer to Barcelona to stay with my sons. Football has some negatives, it limits your personal life sometimes, you can miss out on many things because of football.”

Pedro is still a starter for Lazio, who are fighting for a Europa League position in Serie A, despite the fact that a return to Barcelona appears doubtful. Despite the fact that he will be 36 shortly after his contract expires, he could be an intriguing free agent option.
