Former Manchester United Star Slams Arsenal’s Celebration Following A Tight Win Against Aston Villa. Aston Villa full-back Ashley Young has slammed Arsenal for their celebrations following their 1-0 victory at Villa Park on Saturday. The Gunners rode on a Bukayo Saka first-half strike in a game where goalscoring opportunities were at a premium for both teams.

Despite this, the Gunners’ excellent defensive performance helped them retain a clean sheet as they bounced back from a loss to Liverpool. Their post-game celebrations, however, did not excite Young, who played over 250 times for Manchester United.

Young, who won the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Europa League with Manchester United, slammed Arsenal’s lavish celebrations. He said quoted by The Mirror.

You saw the way they celebrated; to be honest, it was like they won the league. But it shows they found it tough. We want to be in those European places; we want to get the club back there, and everyone’s got that ambition to get the club back there. So we want to make it a tough place to come, but we want to be winning games as well.”

Arsenal have faced the same criticisms after their narrow victory at Wolves with Ruben Neves coming out rebuking The Gunners celebrations.

“We saw the way they celebrated the win and that shows the level we are. I didn’t see Arsenal celebrating like this in the past 10 years – it was like they won the league.” Said Ruben Neves

Arsenal’s victory over Aston Villa have propelled them to go four points clear of fifth-place Manchester United and with a game in hand.

Arsenal is undergoing a rebuilding process under Mikel Arteta. The Gunners may be able to keep hold of their finest players and sign their top transfer targets if they qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Bukayo Saka has been a star player for Arsenal this season, scoring ten goals and assisting five times in all competitions. He has a contract that expires in 2023, and he wants to play in the Champions League and win trophies. The Gunners must persuade the youngster to sign a long-term contract and stay at the club to continue his growth.
