“He’s been fantastic this year” Harry Kane Showers Praises On Chelsea Star. Harry Kane, a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, praised Chelsea right-back Reece James while selecting his best Premier League five-a-side team.

The two have played together for the England national team and are rivals in club football. The assailant has now acknowledged the progress made by his colleague.

Reece James was named to Kane’s current best Premier League 5-a-side team, which was unsurprising. The 22-year-old is the only defender on the list, which also includes other Premier League stars.

“Kind of need to put a defender in there, don’t I? I’ll go for Reece James. He’s been fantastic this year, and he can do some great attacking as well, the Tottenham Hotspur striker said during a Q&A session with Amazon Prime Video Sport.

Kane also named teammate Hugo Lloris as his backup goalkeeper. N’Golo Kante of Chelsea starts in midfield, while Son Heung-min and Mohamed Salah start in attack.

“I’ll go Hugo (Lloris) in goal. Sonny (Heung-Min Son) up top. Mo Salah up top,” Kane said. “I’ll go for (N’Golo) Kante in midfield,” he added.

Kane did not include himself in his current Premier League five-a-side team, which is a bit surprising. Just maybe the Tottenham striker isn’t reassured by his own season-opening performance. So far in the English Premier League, he has only five goals and two assists, which is a far cry from his usual totals.

It’s quite impressive how Reece James has elevated his game at Chelsea in recent months. Since the start of the season, the defender has been a standout performer for the Blues, earning praise for his outstanding performances.

He has made 23 appearances in all competitions so far, scoring five goals and assisting on six occasions. For manager Thomas Tuchel, James has also proven to be a useful player. This season, he has played on both sides of the midfield, defensive midfield, center-back, and right-back.

Since sustaining a hamstring injury in a 1-1 draw against Brighton in December, James’ brilliant season has come to a halt. The Englishman is will also miss Chelsea’s World Cup campaign that will take next week.
