German Head coach Joachim Low will step down after the much anticipated Euro 2021 competition. Low who became the German football national team in 2006 has decided to quit whilst the going is still good.
The good news is that he will still be the German coach at the upcoming Euro 2021 competition. And who knows, he might give a final stroll on his career with another glorifying moment for Germany. That is likely to be seen because the competition has become stiff, actually, it’s no longer an easy ride.
Joachim Low has been a coach for 17 years and he managed to coach the German national team for 15 years. He has been on Germany’s national team dugout coaching 189 games, winning 120 games, losing only 31.
However, the news will now allow the German FA to consider looking for a new coach to take charge of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Joachim Low joined the national team as an assistant coach to Jurgen Klinsmann before he took over in 2006. He went on to prove that he was the right man for the job as he secured the Euro finals in 2008. Six years later, he went on and win the most prestigious silverware in the world. He won the World Cup six years later.

Above all, the Nationalelf will have not only have to play for the name on the front come Euro 2021 competition. Rather, they will have to play for their coach and give their gaffer the much-needed and a deserved sending ovation. The only way they can do that is by bringing the trophy home, which is likely to be seen after.
