Kane Header Sees Spurs Past Wolves And Remain Unbeated In The Premier League. Harry Kane’s second-half header kept Tottenham unblemished and prolonged Wolves’ losing streak in the Premier League on Saturday.
Although Antonio Conte remained on the sidelines after avoiding a suspension for the incidents at Chelsea last week, his team struggled in the first half. The game needed a game-changer, and Kane was happy to deliver when he headed home from close range to put Spurs, at the very least, briefly, atop the table.

Spurs had a strong start, but Wolves eventually forced their way into the action. A half of half chances quickly changed to half of the close calls. Spurs were underwhelming as Jose Sa made a smart save on Harry Kane’s looping header. Before halftime, some last-ditch defending prevented Matheus Nunes, a newcomer for Wolves, from taking advantage of some shoddy defending.
After a scoreless and uninspired first half, the second needed a spark, which Kane was delighted to supply after 64 minutes. To the relief of the Spurs supporters, Kane headed home from close range after Ivan Perisic flicked on Son Heung-corner Min’s at the near post. The home team displayed tenacity and perseverance to play out the game and secure a crucial three points at home.
