Leandro Trossard’s Last-Gasp Stuns Spurs. Leandro Trossard scored the game-winning goal as Brighton won their second consecutive road game against Tottenham. The Spurs were defeated by a solitary goal on their home field.

Trossard’s game-winning goal came in the final minute of play. Hugo Lloris was caught off guard by the Belgian’s low shot, which sank into the bottom corner. Tottenham did not have a single shot on goal during the game.

Spurs are still in fourth place, barely ahead of Arsenal, while Brighton, who are in tenth place, are on course for their best-ever Premier League result.

Graham Potter’s side had the best of a first half in which Spurs felt strangely slow despite having not played in over a week, but after the hosts started improving in the second half, they were stunned by a mix of sloppy defence and excellent talent from Trossard.

The Belgian dodged Eric Dier before opening up his body and firing a shot low into the far corner of the net with the outside of his right foot.
