According to rumors, Lionel Messi purchased the home from Swiss investor Philippe Amon for a stunning £9.5 million.

This agreement is thought to have been signed on 3 February by Lionel Messi’s lawyer as the agent of a firm called Edificio Rostower.

This multimillion-dollar property is alleged to have planning issues, and the local authority has yet to grant the 35-year-old footballer with a certificate of occupancy certifying that the mansion is in livable condition.

“When the operation was concluded, the footballer’s legal representative, a lawyer in Barcelona, was not aware of the mansion’s planning issues.

They are now aware of the planning problems, and Messi’s legal representatives know what they have to do to legalize the property. Some discussions have already taken place between a lawyer for the footballer and the town hall.
