Norwich Relegated With A Lacklustre Loss At Aston Villa. Norwich was relegated from the Premier League after losing at Villa Park against Aston Villa.
With four games remaining, the Canaries are bottom of the standings, 13 points from safety, after the tame loss and Burnley’s remarkable comeback win at Watford.

Their supporters continued to show their support as a relegation that had been expected for some time was confirmed.
In the first half, Villa took the lead when Ollie Watkins took advantage of a slip by Brandon Williams and fired high into the net.

Norwich’s season was summed up by Williams’ gaffe, as was their inability to score goals. They made only a few openings, while Villa hit the woodwork in both halves.
Danny Ings scored a late goal in stoppage time to compound Norwich’s woes.
Villa’s low-key victory ends a five-match winless streak, moves them up to 13th in the table, and brings them to 40 points.
