Pogba Speaks Amid His Departure From Manchester United. Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United when his contract ends at the end of June, according to the club. The 29-year-old Frenchman failed to make any progress with the club during negotiations over the past two years about the potential of continuing on, and he is now free to join another team on a free transfer.
Since joining United from Juventus in 2016, he has been heavily linked to Real Madrid, with another La Liga club Barcelona making an offer in the summer of 2020. He’s also reportedly in talks with Juventus about reuniting with the Serie A side, who recruited the World Cup champion from United in 2012 after he struggled to find regular first-team action under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He returned in the same summer as Jose Mourinho’s appointment as manager, but he failed to persuade the Portuguese of his trustworthiness. He was frequently left out of the starting lineup or on the bench, and after Mourinho left the club, he was frequently sidelined due to injuries, and missing extended amounts of seasons.
Taking to Twitter Paul Pogba confirmed his exit from the Theatre Of Dreams. “I feel privileged to have played for this club. Many beautiful moments and memories but most importantly unconditional support from the fans. Thank you @ManUtd.” Tweeted Paul Pogba.
