Ralf Rangnick Expresses Admiration For ‘Aggressive’ Arsenal Ahead Of Manchester United Showdown. Ralf Rangnick has praised Arsenal for battling back from a poor start to the season, admitting that he enjoys watching them.

Manchester United will face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners, who defeated Chelsea 4-2 in midweek, will try to improve on their midweek success. The Red Devils, on the other hand, were blasted 4-0 in Liverpool’s backyard and will be looking for a way to respond.

Rangnick has spoken frankly about their Saturday opponents in his pre-match press conference, praising them for putting their season back on track. When asked what he thought of Mikel Arteta’s men, the German responded (via Manchester Evening News):

“I think they drew the right conclusions from what they experienced earlier on in the season. They brought in some young players, Odegaard for example, they got rid of some players who didn’t fit that style of football. It’s a high attacking team with fast strikers, pretty aggressive in the first third, always trying to press and counter-press.”

Arsenal have lost their first three Premier League games this season, and are now in fifth place with 57 points after 33 matchdays. They then went eight games without losing in the league, which helped them get their season back on track.

Their recent form — three defeats in their previous four league games — isn’t encouraging, but a win over Chelsea in midweek could help them get back on track.
