Rivaldo On Why Neymar Should Leave PSG For Manchester United. Brazil legend Rivaldo hopes Neymar will join Manchester United after leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG in 2017 for a record-breaking €222 million. The Brazilian superstar, who has 105 goals in 186 games for the club, has continued to be a pillar of the French giants’ attacking line.
Neymar’s current contract at Parc des Princes expires in 2025. However, the Brazil international has been heavily linked with a summer departure from the club.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea have emerged as potential destinations for Neymar, with Rivaldo wanting to see his countryman in a United jersey.
“I am in favour of Neymar transferring to Manchester United,” the Brazil legend said.
“In recent days there has been talk that Neymar might sign for United at the end of the season and, unlike when he left Barcelona for PSG, this time I am in favour of this move.”

Earlier this week, another former Brazil international, Willian, backed Neymar to continue his career at Old Trafford.
“It would be really cool to see him play in the Premier League,” he added. “He has a place in any team in the world thanks to his qualities.
“You only need to know if he wants to go to [Manchester United].”
