Robert Sanchez Extols Mauricio Pochettino After His Move To Chelsea. In a whirlwind of excitement, Chelsea Football Club has finalized the transfer of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from Brighton & Hove Albion.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the London club has agreed on an initial sum of £20 million, which may increase to £25 million in prospective add-ons. The shot-stopper has also agreed to a long-term contract committing to a seven-year contract at the Bridge.

Speaking following his move to West London, Sanchez voiced his delight at the prospect of working with former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino. “Really excited. I’ve missed the opportunity to work with a coach of that level. Watch him on his past clubs what he’s done.” He said.
He added; “Choosing Chelsea is the best choice I could have made because the opportunity they have presented in front of me is amazing to develop more as a goalkeeper, to keep learning, and to compete for the spot, and show everyone how good I can be…”
Following the departure of Edouard Mendy to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli, it seemed inevitable that Chelsea would buy another goalkeeper this summer. As a result, the Blues have made it a priority to complete the Sanchez deal.
