SADIO MANE BREAKS SILENCE ON LEROY SANE FIGHT. Sadio Mane has spoken out about his brawl with Bayern Munich teammate Leroy Sane during a Champions League encounter last season.

Mane hit Sane in the face after a 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the first leg of a Champions League quarter-final in April. Bayern immediately fined him £250,000 and suspended him for one game.
Despite the fact that Sane had a bleeding lip and the two had to be separated, the German allegedly persuaded the club not to terminate Mane. The latter has now talked to the press about the event in his home Senegal, claiming that it was a little issue that they were able to resolve.
“This kind of thing can happen. It happened. We were able to solve this small problem,” Mane said as per the Daily Mail.
“Sometimes it’s good to solve problems, but maybe not in this way. It’s behind us now. We’ll try to fight together to help the club achieve its goals next season.”
Mane even said that his first season with Bayern was difficult. Having said that, the winger stated that he enjoys a good challenge. He also expressed his wish to stay at the Allianz Arena despite speculations of a summer. On his debut season with Bayern, the Senegal international scored 12 goals and had six assists in 38 appearances across all competitions, helping the team win its 11th consecutive Bundesliga title.
