Sadio Mane Opens Up On Liverpool Exit Talk. Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has finally spoken out about speculations that he wants to leave Liverpool.
After the UEFA Champions League final, reports circulated that the Senegalese star wanted to quit the club with one year left on his contract.
According to sources, Bayern Munich is leading the race to recruit Mane ahead of the next season, as they are expected to lose Robert Lewandowski.
Mane is now on international duty with Senegal, and his reaction to a question concerning his future startled reporters.
“I respect the fans and team but 60 to 70 per cent of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I’ll do what they want.” He said.

Bayern Munich is said to have made an offer of roughly £17 million per season for the 30-year-old, although a transfer fee with Liverpool must yet be worked out.
Since joining Liverpool in 2016, the Senegalese forward has helped the team win a variety of championships, including the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
