Tottenham Executives Decide On Antonio Conte’s Future. Tottenham’s board of directors has allegedly decided to fire coach Antonio Conte following his public criticism on Saturday. Conte chastised the club’s owners, Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy, for failing to effect change during their tenure.
The Italian manager spoke at a media briefing following his team’s 3-3 draw with Southampton. “It is easy in this way. Tottenham’s story is this. Twenty years there is the owner and they never won something but why? “The fault is only for the club, or for every manager that stays here. I have seen the managers that Tottenham had on the bench.”

According to TalkSPORT, the majority of the Tottenham executive believes Conte’s position as manager is now unsustainable and that he must leave the club this week.
The coach is already disgruntled with a number of veteran players, and it is believed he has now lost the dressing room entirely. Ryan Mason is anticipated to be appointed as Spurs’ interim manager until the end of the season once Conte’s resignation has been agreed upon and publicized.
