Former Brighton defender Ben White is now Arsenal’s major signing of the summer transfer window. He is likely to make his Premier League debut with the club against Brentford.
The former Brighton defender joined The Gunners earlier in the transfer window for a staggering fee of £50 million, with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta making it a priority to sign a centre back in the transfer window.
Despite Ben White’s arrival is a positive factor in the Arsenal squad, this transfer window so far has been dismal and not so kind to the Gunners. They have lost on their major targets such as Emiliano Buendia, who opted for a move to Aston Villa instead. Manuel Locatelli is also another player that the Gunner have been eyeing but he is now on the verge of joining Juventus.

New Signings a Major Boost for Arsenal in Premier League Opener
The arrival of Albert Sambi Lokonga along with Nuno Tavares and Ben White has been a major reinforcement to the North London side.
The Gunners are facing a tough, rather tricky task in their opener as they visit the newly-promoted Brentford. The former is still on a high after their promotion to the Premier League.
Even though the deal to sign Aaron Ramsdale seems to be hitting a snag. Bernd Leno will start on goal for Arsenal.
Nevertheless, there are also doubt concerning Hector Bellerin’s future at the club. But there are high chances that he will start right-back. Kieran Tierney who has been the fans’ favourite will start on the left side of Arsenal’s backline.
Gabriel is still on the side-line due to a knee injury, and Rob Holding is also a major doubt due to fitness concerns. Therefore Pablo Mari will partner with Ben White in the centre of the Arsenal defence.
He has had an awful start at Arsenal, Thomas Partey has been ruled out for a month, and this is a serious selection dilemma for Mikel Arteta in the middle of the park. Partey’s injury simply means that Sambi Lokonga will get a nod collaborating along with Granit Xhaka ahead of Mohamed Elneny.
